GTA 6 is one of the most highly anticipated games on the horizon, despite Rockstar Games not officially announcing its existence.
Since Red Dead Redemption 2, launched last year, GTA fans have been wondering what Rockstar Games is doing next.
An obvious choice is with GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto players who are currently waiting the longest for a new entry in the series.
Rumors are pointing to the earliest 2020 release date for GTA 6 and some major Grand Theft Auto claims have been made this year.
It has been alleged that GTA 6 may be a time special for the PS5, that it will be out next year, set in Vice City and only for next-gen formats.
If this latter rumor is true it could mean that GTA 6 launches - as soon as possible - around the holidays in 2020, which is the PS5 and Xbox Scarlet drop.
All this remains to be seen, but Grand Theft Auto fans await the GTA 6 release date, which brings a smile to their faces.
A GTA superfan has started a live stream and stated that they will drive around San Andreas in GTA 5 until GTA 6 launches.
YouTuber is undertaking the 10HoursMovies Marathon Drive-a-thon which you can watch online by clicking here.
In the description of the video the YouTube channel stated that the stream could be over a year.
He said: "The car goes on the GTA 5 map for the premiere of GTA 5, probably in 365 days!"
In a post, Online Polygon said that so far 10HourMovies has counted over 800 gaps and maps of the giant San Andreas.
It remains to be seen how long the GTA stream will last, and when Rockstar Games can announce the GTA 6 release date.
If GTA 6 is indeed a timed launch for the PS5, it may be announced in the coming months.
It is rumored that Sony will hold a big PlayStation meeting in February where they will reveal all on PS5.
The PS5 and controller as well as the upcoming games, demos of the titles running on the console, price and launch line-up all came to the fore.
If GTA 6 is indeed a PS5 launch exclusive, Sony and Rockstar may decide to announce the deal at the rumored 2020 PlayStation event.
It has been claimed that Sony paid "large sums" to secure the time-bound GTA 6 exclusivity.
